
Alicia is the first woman of color mobile developer to create a domestic violence app (PEVO) dedicated to helping victims escape abuse. She used her acquired skills as a developer to make a difference. Alicia was once Director of Women Who Code Atlanta she now dedicated her time speaking all over the world to empower, inspire and motivate women in tech she knows that it the future and an opportunity. She has received several major acknowledgment and being the first black woman to be highlighted by Apple at WWDC15 and WWDC16 as well as GitHub in there I am a developer video.
